Gratitude to Marie Angie at Queen’s Park Community for connecting me! Thanks to her, I had the pleasure of being invited by Emma Bolton, the Head Teacher of Queen’s Park Academy, to a delightful coffee morning with parents. It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss the “Museum for a Day” project, experiencing firsthand a school where parents actively engage. Engaging in casual conversations over coffee provided insights into the languages spoken at home, enriching the cultural tapestry.
On another occasion, I had the joy of meeting the children, sharing stories that celebrated culture, family life, friendship, and personal hobbies. The morning was filled with beautiful narratives, creating a space where children not only shared their stories but also connected with their friends. It’s moments like these that make the journey of connecting through stories truly special
